Girl, Stay the Course

Let me be real with y’all today…
This week, life came for me. Between the stress, setbacks, and responsibilities, I found myself off routine. And when I’m off routine, baby, it shows. My house? A mess. My energy? Scattered. My peace? Missing in action.
And it hit me: I need my structure. I need my routine.
When one thing falls out of order, I start letting everything slide.
Why Staying the Course Matters
You ever notice how skipping one small habit — like making your bed or saying your affirmations — can lead to you skipping everything else?
It’s not about perfection .It’s about staying anchored.
When I let my routine go, I let my balance go. And then my peace, too. So here’s your reminder (and mine too):
Your healing is in your habits. Your sanity is in your structure.
Here's What Helps Me Stay on Track:
1. Set a Non-Negotiable Morning Routine even if the day is wild — brush your teeth, speak life over yourself, drink water, say a quick prayer. It doesn’t have to be deep, but it does need to be consistent.
2. Say Your Affirmations Out Loud Especially when your life feels loud. Say: “I am still worthy. I am still covered. I am still becoming.”
3. Build in 15-Minute Reset Moments Clear a space. Breathe. Light a candle. Pause. It might not fix everything, but it calms your nervous system and brings you back to yourself.
4. One Off Day Doesn’t Mean Start Over One slip-up doesn’t cancel your growth. Start where you are. Always.
Final Thought:
Sis, if your life feels messy right now — literally or emotionally — you're not alone. Start small. Pick one thing. Do that. Tomorrow, do one more. That’s how we heal. On purpose.
This is sooo true!! I was definitely off task on my business life and my personal! The overwhelming feeling of deallong with things for others can definitely spill over into your own routine and scatter it! This post was a reminder to handle ME and MINE 1st and keep it all anchored before dealing with everything else. Now i feel like I have the biggest mess to sort through just to get back on track but it will get done! Love this post for the week! Its just the PUSH I need to RESET!
